I came to town for family reunion and missed/wanted Happy Joes BLT. It was great. Just as I remember it. Wish there was a restaurant to sit and eat instead of taking it back to my hotel.

This is a quick, make pizza place for pickup or takeout. There are no tables. They have a different pizza selection, which is nice. The most impressive part of my visit was how the young man at the counter offered the different selections and really talked up the food quality mentionimg that they have breakfast pizza and different specialties of the day or season. I wish I had gotten his name. The owner should be proud as they were mentioned how they take care of the employees. Plus, this Urbandale location was marketing to give a totally free large one topping pizza. That is both generous and genius.

I miss there being an actual Happy Joe's restaurant you could walk into, like when I was younger. Maybe play some Skee Ball or something while my pizza is being made. Still, seems to be the same great pizza. I order here a couple of times a month and it's always good!
