I always liked Backdraft, the food was great. But I've had to start limiting what I ordered. the brisket started to become hit or miss. Sometimes it was flavorful and fell apart. Other times it was like chewing rubber or excessively fatty and tasted like it was leftovers reheated. On a recent visit we ordered pizza and the crust wasn't cooked and very chewy and tough. the brisket on the pizza had a lot of fat chunks, and the brisket was very tough, and tasted old, we had to pick it off. the cream cheese was in massive chunks. It wasn't made like how they use to be made.
Try it for yourselves, like i said, it use to be great but it's now hit or miss.

My husband was driving back to Harlan from a job site and grabbed pizza to go. We were told it was really good pizza, so we wanted to try it. It was really good! Great crust and ingredients!

We were in town for work and tried Backdraft for dinner It did not disappoint! We got fried mushrooms and chips and salsa for appetizers. Both delicious. For the main course I got the Cuban sandwich and friend got the Texas burger. Both were excellent. Service was great and atmosphere was fun. We will be back soon!

Driving down US-20 and needed lunch. Just called when about 20 minutes away to place a carry out order. Great prices, hot food and friendly service. We picked it up and ate in the car. So much better than the typical fast food we settle for on a road trip! I recommend the sweet potato fries with ranch for your side.

The service was pretty good, but my biggest problem was they cooked the pizza in paper and it was stuck to it. The only reason food isn't at 1 star is because the wings were alright but kinda overcooked. They waitress was nice and sincere abt the paper. We've been here before and it was better I think they fell off.
Great place for food and/or drinks... great cooks who care about how the customer wants it!

A few times a year I go to backdraft just to get their BBQ brisket and cream cheese pizza. That is how I have always ordered it. My drive is over an hour one way. When I picked my pizza tonight started back home and decided I wanted a piece. I took a couple of bites and something wasnt right. Who ever made the pizza put BBQ sauce over it instead of the glaze. What a disappointment. I ended up giving it to my neighbors. So much for craving for pizza?
