Great atmosphere! And kid-friendly! They have a few toys and books to occupy kids for awhile which I definitely appreciate! And every time my kids have spilled something, the girls working have very willingly and cheerfully helped me clean it up! There aren’t very many places that are very welcoming to mothers with young children, so thank you Grain House for being one of them!!

Me and my mother went to the Grain House in Sanborn at 12:32. We ordered our drinks and a flat bread. and sat down at a table. We had to wait 10 minutes for two drinks, when she brought out the drinks, she brought out the wrong one. We had to wait another 10 minutes for the right drink. After 30 minutes now without our flatbread we got the young girls attention that took our order. She said “ Oh sorry, what pizza did you get?” We told her which one and we had to wait another 10 minutes after. So we didn’t end up getting our flatbread bread until 1:07 After waiting for the 35 minutes and then messing up our order twice, I don’t recommend Grain House.

My daughter and I loved the cozy atmosphere. The lattes were amazing and she had a strawberry Italian soda. We will definitely be back.

As someone who frequents independently owned coffee shops, I HIGHLY recommend this place. I've been coming to Boyden, Iowa for years for business, and just found this place today. I don't know how long it's been here, but it will now become a new must stop when in town. The almond croissant is sensational. Smooth coffee and espresso, everything pumpkin is addicting, and I had the turkey croissant for lunch which was fantastic.

Nice work Grain House. This place gets it right.

Flavorful flat bread. Coffee was good and a good well-branded vibe.

Parking: Lots of great draft beers but they close at 5pm most days, so I have never tried them.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of toys and games for kids
