Tap water after taste. Gave this bakery a chance since it's in my old neighborhood, and my mom is from Celaya, but Mexican sweet bread from Mexico ruins you for cheap ingredient imitators. Three stars cause the workers keep it clean.
I had been craving Mexican baked goods for a while and stumbled across Celaya Bakery here on Yelp. I came with my boyfriend (who is Mexican) a few days ago and we had a great experience! We picked up a tray and tongs to place the baked goods of our choice on, as they were on trays in a sliding display case. Im sorry but this is the best pan dulce and champorado in all of LA. Parking sucks since its only street but it is free around the neighborhood. 10/10 would come for only those 2 items. Everything else is cool but a little different since 2020. I miss the old location on Vermont but this location is just as good.
