I ate here for the first time today, and I was super impressed. The food was amazing! I had the panini special and tomato basil soup. The panini was one of the best I’ve ever had. There is a friendly, positive vibe in this place, and it was clean, too. Highly recommend!

Apple dumpling is delicious
A couple of my friends were out on a day road trip and stopped here for lunch. It was a GREAT surprise how EXCELLENT the service was and the OUTSTANDING food! When we are in the area again, it is a must stop. They have limited hours which is normal in a small town, but well worth the stop!

Drove to Humeston, Iowa, today due to an ad in our local flyer. Tried the Grass Roots Cafe & ate a really good chicken salad croissant. It is a popular place as it was almost full of guests that were eating lunch.
