Drove to Humeston, Iowa, today due to an ad in our local flyer. Tried the Grass Roots Cafe & ate a really good chicken salad croissant. It is a popular place as it was almost full of guests that were eating lunch.

A great little spot! My wife and I had lunch there. The Tomato Basil soup might be some of the best soup I've ever had! You won't be disappointed!

Small town restaurant with great food. I love this place and then go across the street to Snyder's. They have items you forgot you needed and nice clothes too.
