Finally made it to a champion of the Tenderloin Trail and it did not disappoint. We both had the tenderloin sandwich and it was an excellent example of Iowa's state dish. A true tenderloin and the breading was not overwhelming so you get a very pork-forward experience. Fries were good and we also had gizzards and fried cauliflower, both very good. No beer on tap but a surprisingly decent variety in cans and bottles - if you have Guinness and Shiner Bock, you're okay...
Have wanted to try the tenderloins here for a long time. Finally had the chance. Tenderloin did not disappoint. Fries were perfect. We also had the buffalo ones. Not spicy. Like thin potato wedges with light seasoning.
New ownership. Cards are allowed.
Living in SW Iowa there are very few places listed on the official Iowa pork tenderloin trail, but when I notice one around, I like to go and check them out. It was good and the wife and I enjoyed it! She had the small with buffalo chip fries and I had the regular with classic fries. All was very good and the staff friendly.NOTE: They don’t take cards.
