the country fried steak here is the best I’ve ever had, i live in Des Moines and im literally trying to convince my husband to move to independence with me so i can go here on the regular 😂 every time i visit my bestie she takes me here and its very quickly become my favorite breakfast spot in the whole state of Iowa ❤️

Great for a sit down restaurant nice easygoing atmosphere not a quick stop
Went there today for the first time. All of the food came to the table quickly and was hot and fresh. My meal was delicious however the poached egg that was served with my shrimp and grits was basically a hard boiled egg. I would still recommend this place, the food was truly fantastic.

It is illegal to charge a 3.2% credit card fee on a debit card. I will be calling my bank about this.

Great food! The Buttermilk Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat. I usually go their and have breakfast, which is always amazing. I have had lunch and dinner their as well and it is all very good. It does get pretty noisy when their are several people in the restaurant.
