Pretty much what you would expect from a small town diner. Great food, banter with the guests, great service and good prices. Great place for breakfast

If I could give it zero stars I would. Service was not good, very disrespectful from the moment we walked in the door. It’s important to support local, but I won’t when the cost is waitresses being disrespectful. I have given this place two chances, but never again.

BLT and fries were substandard. No one greets guests promptly and some menu items were not available. Disgusting basement and very musty bathrooms. Didn’t even get a waitress name and no one checked on me. Don’t even bother going here as locals don’t want out of state visitors inside. It’s also cash only.

My parents and I tried this place out as my parents were heading back home after moving me in at Ellsworth Community College (this was back in August). Waitress knew we were there but didn't serve us till like 20 mins later. The restaurant is more worried about their regulars than newcomers. Would not recommend unless you wanna try to be a regular to get service right away.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Visiting Iowa Falls was such a great experience. Every establishment we visited we went to multiple times. Not this place. The waitress was beyond rude and the cook wasn’t much better. Definitely do not recommend.
Rude, rude, rude!! Waitress had a bee in her bonnet since we walked in. Pretty much ignored us the whole time and huffed when asked for a refill on coffee. Will never go back, food was also not great.

This is the first and only time I did not tip my waitress we have gone here 4 times, the first time it was great and the waitress we had was very sweet and friendly, how ever the last 3 times we’ve eaten there, there has been an awful waitress she’s been consistently rude every time we’ve been there lately and she only seemed to be nice to the people she knew and mostly ignored us the whole time, while loudly talking poorly about people and rude to other customers also my French toast was the butt end of the bread and still soggy and yolky I asked her to take them back because it was under cooked she got angry and verbally annoyed and stomped off she then threw the plate in the in the kitchen window loudly said she said “ these aren’t cooked” in a mocking tone which was just childish. I had also asked for over easy eggs and the yolk was hard and at this point I didn’t want another show so I just asked them. I didn’t want to have them re-cooked and get yelled at again after her first little episode and was just ready to leave at this point she argued with me and said they weren’t hard I showed them to her and my friend and I said they’re clearly not over easy either. She then threw a huge fit and started arguing with me. She got so angry when we asked if we could sit in a booth instead of the bar table and she said are you kidding me then threw stuff around and said I guess they want to sit in a booth now. Honestly I get being busy but clearly other people have also made complaints about the same waitress in the reviews the fact that she has such a bad attitude and is allowed to treat customers that way is really not good for this small town gem. ?
