Los Tapatios was recommended by the owner of the motel we stayed at as there were only two Mexican restaurants in Keokuk. The only parking was on the main street in front, fortunately there was one spot there. When we got the menus, it looked like a good selection. Chips and salsa was brought right away but refills were not free. I ordered a combination plate that had a beef taco, beef burrito and beef enchilada. Rice and beans did not come with this selection. My friends and I came here for dinner and thought it was okay. Our service was very slow and the food was just okay: there wasn’t a ton of seasoning or flavor to the food. But the meat wasn’t dry so that’s great. Keokuk didn’t have a ton of options to choose from so this one wasn’t bad but don’t have high expectations going in.
