I enjoy hard to find unique small town establishments. This bakery is a home run for me.One Saturday I arrived late for me, after 1130am. There were minimal offerings left. 5 danishes were with the remaining selections. I don't particularly like Danish's because I find too often they are dry and whatever is stuck in the middle as a preservative is not very nice. Anyway, I bought two. Sat in my truck at sampled one. Sadly the rest of the weekend I regretted not going back in for the three. Amazing how good there were.Stans. You will not forget it.The eldery lady that takes your order is a gem. You cannot leave without a smile on your face.

It's been around for years, as I was a kid..I loved going there.They have a great selection of Donuts, Cream Horns were my Favorite!It's just Sad they don't make their Donuts as Big as they use to, the Glazed Donuts n Cream Horns are alot smaller..?Every once in awhile I go back n get some but not like I use to.If ur craving a Small Donut, it is a place to go in town!!

Stan's has always been a Keokuk favorite. They are so kind and just honest, trustworthy people. Their donuts are so fresh and good the creamhorns are definitely a must! Don't leave town without swinging by and grabbing a dozen!!

LOVE everything about this little bakery! I drive 45 miles for the cream horns and cookies! And the atmosphere is like stepping back in time. I seriously don’t want to leave, whenever I go in. The perfect old fashioned bakery experience! Please don’t change a thing!

On-street parking, slightly awkward entrance that leads to a small, run-down bakery counter. When we arrived they seemed to be out of most of their bakery items, and the lady helping us seemed to be annoyed that we were even there. Wasn't impressed with the quality of their products, and the atmosphere needed some attention as well. Don't think we will be going back any time soon.
