Horrible owner literally always being rude to customers and has overpriced drinks for only one size. There's only one nice staff member there and I get yelled at every time I walk into the place. Highly do not

I have tried to contact the owner of this company about the ‘breakfast with Santa’ tickets that were still live for sale while the shop was closed. Hoping to be reimbursed for the tickets but what I’ve been hearing about the owner it’s very unlikely… even took the event offline?! such a shame as this use to be an amazing cafe with great members of staff!

Stopped in past for breakfast & tbh was a little disappointed this time.... place was freezing but the young girl did put on a standing heater thing if she hadn't think I would of left. I ordered egg benedict & the ham wasn't what was meant to come on it just cheap square ham slices & not a great amount of sauce. I've been here a good few times & it's always cosy & decor welcoming but just felt a little empty, not much effort going into now which is sad.

My wife and my youngest daughter booked online for my oldest daughters birthday ,so a very special occasion!! They turned up early as everybody does , they were dismantling a tent/ pop up thing next to them . A very rude older lady with blond tried back hair said" not open till 10am if we open then !!!! " Have you reserved a table and my youngest daughter says yeah booked online , the lady said can't book online and we don't open till 10am anyway if that happens , so you don't want our custom ?? Stood up and left , well that would have been at least a £60 order plus all the other times we have been spending lots of money on high teas ,celebrating occasions and many more but it will be the last , bad experiences live long in your mind and this is certainly one , bad day at the office not in hospitality!!!! If you want customers to come back you give your best !!! If you read my other reviews you will find out I know about hospitality as I have been a Chef since I was 14 Head Chef since I was 25 so I no how it works . If you Kindly reply about what happened that day , how your going to solve it and what convinces us to comeback and spend our money at your company .My wife and youngest daughter have written reviews on other platforms as well On that day alone would not recommend

We had a fantastic experience! Jojos pull out all the stops to accommodate 30 of us to have afternoon tea and drinks. The food was amazing, the drinks were super and the cost was great value for money. We couldn’t fault the staff - they were very busy, but worked non-stop, were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend and will be returning. Best afternoon tea in Aberdeen for sure!

Had the belt buster breakfast and a few of their special blend coffees. Great place and owners are wonderful people.

I used to love coming here, it was a lovely cafe, with affordable food and drinks. I was disappointed with the decor/ cleanliness, and the service wasn’t as good as it used to be. It wasn’t overly busy. We ordered a sandwich and a milkshake each (patently 50p more for cream, which we weren’t told). The food was ok, but overpriced for what was received. Not sure if I’ll go back.

I thought the food was really cheap hence the 4 stars. Nothing out of the ordinary but not bad either. Very good value for money. Service was OK. I would go back again if I was in the area and wanting something to eat.

This used to be a go-to for coffee and cake in Aberdeen but it’s really declined since our last visit. Dirty, sticky table, disinterested staff, incredibly slow service. We ordered a coffee, a snack, a cake and a roll. The coffee finally arrived once everything else had been finished. The place wasn’t even busy but the young girls seemed more interested in chatting and playing on their phones. Could probably have been redeemed if the food and coffee was good. A stale traybake, a lukewarm roll and a bitter coffee however didn’t help. A real shame and we won’t be back.

Visited today (3/11/22) after googling where is good for coffee and cake in Aberdeen. Jojos came highly rated. We were seated as soon as we entered then had a long wait for our order to be taken. The waitress walked past our table many times, seemingly avoiding eye contact. Eventually, just as we were about to leave, the other waitress took our order. 2 hot chocolates, 2 glasses of water and 2 cakes...not a difficult order. After approx 10mins, our 2 hot chocolates arrived. They were delicious! We sipped away awaiting our water and cakes but they never arrived. Neither waitress was particularly busy doing anything other than avoiding eye contact with customers. Eventually, my mum went up to the counter and asked to cancel our cake and water as we had waited too long. She was given a clearly insincere apology by the waitress who had been stood playing on her phone at the time. Ironically, we were sat under an award for best cafe in 2021!!! I can only assume the owner/manager was not in the cafe today and that standards are not akways so low. Those staff need significant training. Also, the cafe was very cold...unwelcoming in every way possible.

It was late afternoon - we had been turned away at a nearby coffee shop as closing time was in 20 minutes (how strange to do that when 3 people paying for coffees and scones would probably have covered an hours wages) Anyway, we turned up at JoJos hoping we'd not find the same . We didn't, as we only wanted coffee and a cake, not cooked food, we were welcomed in and seated. The coffee was delicious, the scones are absolutely FIVE STAR. The staff were really friendly. Cannot rate them highly enough. Late in the afternoon, I had the impression they'd had a busy day yet still made us feel welcome. We went to pay to find that not only the best scones anywhere, but the best value. We WILL be back this will be our first stop now to go for our coffee. Well done Jo Jos. You made us very happy and we left revived and in such a good mood. :)

I came across JoJo’s after I suddenly took unwell and fainted outside their shop last week. The staff could not have been kinder, allowing me to recover for a bit in the back section of the cafe, making sure I was ok and providing me with some much needed sugar and food. I really appreciate the help, and I honestly do not know what I would have done if it wasn’t for the staff at JoJo’s - will definitely be back hopefully under some better circumstances! Thank you so much again the kindness you all expressed didn’t go unnoticed.

Popped in for a late morning breakfast during a shopping trip. Served promptly. Amazingly tasty scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and toast. A good sized portion, beautifully presented. All staff were lovely. If I had to find a fault it was a very minor one in that my teapot didn’t have very much hot water in it. I’m sure I could have asked for more but was aware the table I had was booked for someone soon and time was marching on.

I was invited to an afternoon tea here with friends at the weekend and it was wonderful! A beautiful cafe decorated with brick walls and fairy lights. The staff were, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious, we each got to choose our own sandwich type and filling a welcome change from the usual crustless egg mayo fingers. We also got to choose our own flavour of scone freshly baked that morning and the selection of mini cakes was delightful! Will be recommending and will most definitely be returning.
