My mother found a dead fly i. Her soup. We were told by one waitress that they can't control the flies. When our sandwiches came, I asked if she was going to compensate my mother for a dead fly being in the soup and she said yes. They compensated us $1 for the deluxe portion of her meal. In other words, the fries and the soup. We have been coming to this diner for years. I told the girl that $1 was not real compensation because it's absolutle disgusting. I said I would pay the bill but it was not compensation. She insinuated that either we brought the fly in or it flew in the soup as we sat at the table. That's impossible as we would have seen it flying around. I told her the soup needs to be covered. SHE covered the meal and told us to never cone back. My mother is 87 years old and I am in my 50s. We are not young looking for a free meal, just a decent meal out. Never will we step foot in the diner again and I DO not recommend it.

Our family of 5 is a great fan of restaurants serving breakfast foods all day. I had crisp and delicious fried chicken with fries and soup. My soup had very large pieces of chicken and was obviously made there. The omelets and sandwiches were better than expected. Although fairly busy, our cups and glasses were kept full. Two of us had enough food left for our next meal. We, also love their walleye on Fridays!

Beer Battered Walleye, on Friday's only! My top 3 fish EVER!! I always pay the $1 for a additonal (3rd) extra plank. I also love that you get a choice of soup or a salad, and a potato or fries with your order. Their Monte Cristo sandwhich is fire too!
Roast beef dinner didn't have much flavor. Mannys burger was great. Beef and noodles soup was also bland. Salad with ranch was good!
Changing the table in the bathroom is 4ft off the ground and not able to change my baby on it.

Mom and Pop style eats with friendly staff.
Was there during a Lunch Rush and Staff was calm, cool and collected.
Meal wasn't slopped together either.
Easy on the wallet too.

My lady and I went to Manny's a few weeks ago. She had been there before, but I hadn't. I've always felt that the true measure of a neighborhood restaurant how many local people go there. When we arrived, the place was packed. That was the first indication that I had that it was a hidden treasure. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. I always do the first time at a restaurant. If they can't make a good burger, well... It was the best burger that I've had in a long time. My lady had a bacon and cheese chicken sandwich. The food was awesome. We went bake the next week for the batter fried walleye. If you are looking for great food at a great price, track down Manny's.
