I received terrific service, and great marbling and taste. However, having to trim nearly 5lbs of Fat off my 160$ brisket throwing away 45$, also the Brisket was frozen and processed in July 2020, delivered to me in April of 2021. (Frozen nearly 8 months.)

Bought a 1/4 this week. Threw some ribeyes on the grill tonight. Grilled up nice and even. The taste was beyond great. Great texture and cuts like butter. Highly recommend.

Wow! I've had American Wagyu before, but this meat is off the charts, it's so well-marbled and some of the finest steak that I've ever had. It's seriously TOP SHELF! A+!!! The vacuum-sealed packaging and delivery service is on point too! I was amazed at how delicious and beefy this mouth-watering melt in your mouth steaks and burgers were. I'll definitely be ordering again!

I've been buying beef for about 2 years now from John and Schmaltz Wagyu. After tons of research about farms and genetics, I landed on their farm and couldn't be happier.
Salt of the earth people, who know how to raise the best beef I've ever had. I've had beef from at least 8 different online shops and every grocery store where I see Wagyu beef, and I can't beat the beef I get from John. I literally drive 8 hours each way out to Iowa from Michigan to pick up whatever I can fit in the truck.
When I make it out, John and I usually talk for at least an hour. He loves what he does and it shows in the beef he produces. I cook every single cut and they're all delicious. I smoke some, sear some, roast some, braise some, you really just can't go wrong. The fat content of his animals is just spot on.
And for the record, I know a lot of these kinds of posts are friends and family trying to talk up a business. I am not that. I am just a true fan of their work and the happy recipient of some of the best beef in the country.
