Great food. Great beer and menu options. Great staff. Great decor and laid back atmosphere. The menu was witty.
Nice little small plate bistro. Space is limited so reservations are probably recommended. The tuna poke and bacon wrapped dates took the cake.
Excellent food...atmosphere...excellent chef
Quirky decor, lovely building saved and pretty good food. Beer selection fairly good. I didnt know rhe author oc Nancy Drew was from Ladora.
This is a fabulous place to get Tapas and drinks with an atmosphere to match. The owner takes great pride in not only fabulous service great food but also has a great sense of humor. The historical old Bank turned into restaurant has wonderful features of an old bank vault where they keep their kegs. The fun jokes scattered around are all politically based along with the menu has some creative puns to keep guests entertained. Highly recommended to check out even if you have to drive a little bit to get to the small town you won't be disappointed.
Great service and the bank is a beautiful marble experience of the old days!
I attended a 2020 Democratic candidate event held by former Colorado Gov John Hickenlooper. Off the menu I decided to have the Herman Cain which was a sausage stromboli of sorts. It was very good and would recommend getting it. The restaurant had multiple photos of political people which I found interesting. The staff was excellent as well. I would dine here again even if I wasn't seeing a presidential candidate.
Good effort, eclectic slow food menu. The Herman Cain dish resembled a calzone but more artistic and less filling. Mushroom tart flaky and flavorful. Dishes seemed appetizer sized upon receipt, leaving us a bit perplexed as we were advised that dishes were made to share. To us hicks, that means the portions are so big, you can't comfortably eat your chosen dish by yourself so you have to share. So we only ordered one dish each, leaving us not quite filled up. See pictures below. Portions are not generous for the price.
This is a hidden gem. A must stop. Food is good and the place is set in a 1920 bank. They will give you the history of the place and let you look around. This was a happy find on our motorcycle ride.
Really enjoyed our time. Very good atmosphere with a great drink and food list. We will be back

Great food and drink selection, but you can't beat the venue itself!
