What an absolute gem. On our way from KC to MN, we stopped here for something quick and fun.
First, the owner, a very cute elderly man greeted us and sat us down to a small corner of the restaurant. The atmosphere felt like walking into your abuelita’s house. He was so kind and accommodating.
The food was great! We tested their horchata and it was so yummy. Very strong taste of cinnamon afterwards though. I did the sirloin steak, although I did ask for medium rare, I got well done instead so it was a lot more chewy, nonetheless the whole plate was yummy. My partner got the green chicken enchiladas and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of spice and you can taste how fresh it is with the green tomatoes! Will come by again!

Very nice staff. Quick service and amazing food. The best Mexican food I've had since I left New Mexico in 1996. Small building but huge flavors.

A very authentic little food stop in a very small town. The tamales were fantastic and we really enjoyed our chat with the proprietor!

Food is mediocre at best. Ground beef is bland, chips were old. Chimichanga had a piece of white cheese melted on top in the microwave.. super soaked with grease on the bottom. Owner was nice!!

Probably the best hoke in the wall Mexican place ever! Rellano and Chicken con crema was outstanding. Super friendly. Don't let the looks of the place fool you. Go check it out!

The food was extremely greasy and I ordered guac and it was runny and extremely spicy like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Chefs were brought to the table but they were burnt and never offered refills. Spent $50 on the meal would not recommend and if you want drinks, you’re going to pay three dollars per drink.
