Skip the highways to Yosemite and take Greeley Hill Road (J132) to Yosemite West Gate as it's a beautiful drive with lots of curves and hills for any motorcyclist to enjoy! While turning onto J132 at Coulterville be sure to stop into the Cafe as they are super friendly and knowledgeable. It was 108F that day and the owner suggested we stay as long as we'd like (given we were riding) and even filled our water bottles! Prices are reasonable given their generally remote...
With very limited options, we decided to give the café a try. We were not disappointed! The Hamburger was the best we’ve eaten in awhile and the chicken for the chicken strips was extremely fresh. Fried pickles lived up to the hype and we enjoyed the outdoor patio seating. Staff were friendly. Definitely would stop here again.
Ate a roasted chicken dinner special last Saturday night that included a marvelous green sauce and roasted veggies! Plus a surprise wondrous almond cake with apple & almond honey sauce - I ate every bite. Nice wine selection. These cold, dark winter days are made warm and bright by the live music and homey atmosphere. The owners are doing a super job and their new chef is showing off her skills well!!!
