I absolutely LOVE the food at Bob and Ellen’s. No problems whatsoever, food was great, and it is a perfect local restaurant. At first things were a little shaky, but they have really improved. I go there quite often, and I’ve never gotten an order wrong or bad service. My personal favorite there is the wings, although I do wish they added more wing sauce to them.

We were extremely disappointed in the service last Saturday, September 14th. We came in for dinner with a group of 8 teens and 5 adults. We had called ahead to ensure they could accommodate us. When we got there, there were maybe 2 other customers in the bar. The teens were seated together in the dining room and we sat ourselves in the bar. We could see the teen table from where we were sitting. They got their drink orders quickly, however, after waiting over an hour, they still had no food. They ordered easy dishes like chicken strips and fruit bowls. The food should have been ready quickly. By this time, the restaurant was filling up and everyone was getting their food except our teens. After watching so many people get their food and our kids not even getting drink refills at this point, my husband asked to speak with the manager. The manager said it was busy and they were doing their best. My husband explained that we had been waiting for over an hour and needed to get going to the homecoming dance. Finally, the food was brought out and apologies were given. When it was time to pay, the manager said the teen table was covered and we appreciated that. I don't leave bad reviews lightly but even the service in the bar was terrible. We ordered drinks we never received but didn't bother complaining about because we were focused on the teens getting their food. The food at Bob and Ellen's is good but customers should be served in a timely manner and without having to complain first. We will not be going back.

If I had the option for 0 stars that’s what I would leave!!! Took over an hour and I had to talk to the manager to get our food. 3 people at our table got their food and finished it before our other 2 orders were received. I actually never ate because I received the wrong sandwich. We also had a second table with 8 kids that placed their orders and didn’t get food until I had to inform the manager. The kids sat there waiting to get drinks refilled for an hour and all they ordered was chicken strips and fries, 1 kid ordered a fruit bowl. We watched everyone in the establishment get their food first so apparently they can’t handle tables that have more than 2 people at them or they like to feed the local customers first. I also had to get up and find the waitress to get my second drink that I ordered 20 minutes earlier.

Ordered the Italian Nachos to go- Friday evening, not busy. Got home and literally had a pile of 18 chips and way too much cheese all in a blob. Pepperoni was stacked together, some had 3-4 several had more. All the pieces of sausage were loose because the cheese wasn’t evenly distributed. It would make more sense to make these on a plate- transfer to the styrofoam afterwards.

I was with a group of girlfriends, and none of us had been here before. Two girls had wraps, and I had the cheese burger, with provolone instead of American cheese, with sweet potato fries as my side. Wow , it was a really good burger!! I also tried the drink "London Fog", steamed milk with Earl Grey tea! Wait, what!? A "latte for tea drinkers?!?!?". It was good!!! I had no idea what to expect, it was warm (duh! steamed milk!) , and there was the perfect amount of tea flavor! It was really good! The menu also said " Prime Rib, every Saturday 4-10 pm.". Might be worth checkin' that out!!! ??. I will definitely be back!

There was a slight delay in my pizza, I ordered to go after dining in. The bartender went above and beyond to make it right. Additionally, the manager came out to apologize as well! Those waiting on the pizza said it was worth the wait! Thank you!

This place deserves nothing! I called in my order for my AUTISTIC SON, Grandson and myself! I was told that they closed at 10:00pm. I drove about 15-20 miles to get there! Only slowing down when a car was approaching! I pulled up at 10:02pm...I called them prior to pulling in twice to let them know I am very close! Both times I got the answering machine. The 3rd time the Host first words was "Sorry, we closed at 10"...I told her my name and I was there to get my order. She repeated that they closed at 10pm! I was polite and said I was aware of that and I am only two minutes late. She told me a 3rd time that they closed at 10pm...before I said anything else...She hung up on me! SO.....IF I WAS TOLD TO BE THERE BEFORE 10PM TO GET MY ORDER, THEN LOGIC WOULD TELL YOU that my order is being cooked! So being 2 mins late, they stopped cooking my meal at 10pm...it should have been ready at........10pm!! My AUTISTIC SON HAD A MELTDOWN GROM HIS DISABILITY! What happened to that fairly pricy dinner that was b day ING cooked while I was on my way? RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN THIS REVIEW THAT IS FALSE!OH....And it appeared that people were still inside finishing their meals. Lots of cars outside still! The owner owns some Tech business and they just opened a second restaurant! How do you get to have such success when you have employees who act that way and rude to GOOD patrons! You deserve a negative -1...!!

Tried this place out and found it to be very disappointing. I had a burger which was your standard Sam’s club frozen pre-formed patty. We also ordered a couple of Bloody Mary’s which were devoid of Absolute vodka. The worst was what my wife ordered which was supposed to be an Italian Beef but instead she ended up with a sub sandwich which was all lettuce with 2 thin little slices of roast beef. She said something to the waitress and the waitress took sandwich back to kitchen. Shortly after she brought sandwich back to the table and told my wife that the owner stated this is how they are made?? We will NEVER return or recommend this place to anyone! Expected more from a locally owned business.
