I'm a truck driver staying in the Comfort Inn in Le Claire. I decided to try Van's Pizza. And I have to say, it was the best meal as far as a pizza place goes that I have ever had! It beats all the big chain pizza places hands down! I ordered a supreme calzon and bbq boneless wings with ranch dressing. The wings were so tender and flavorful, and the creamy ranch that I had with them was the absolute best ranch dressing I've ever tasted. It had to be homemade?! And...
The staff was super friendly and helpful, it was my first time and they were very nice about it. I ordered the cheese sticks and a CBR sandwich with fries, the food was so good! My kid loves the cheese sticks and he's kind of a snob about them, and the bun in particular on the CBR was notably excellent. I'm only in town for a couple days but I'm strongly considering coming back to try the pizza.
This was our first time having Vans pizza. We had pizza and breadsticks with marinara sauce and it was extremely good. We'll definitely eat there again next time we're up that way.
