Food was not good! Steaks were underwhelming. No flavor and no seasoning. We had the combo appetizer and it was the best part of the meal but still not that good. Very limited menu. Salad cones with mixed greens and dressing. Nothing else on it. There is a relish try served with the salad that includes carrot sticks, celery sticks, some pickle spears and cubes of Velveeta cheese. You heard me, velveeta cheese. Who eats cubes of the nastiest processed cheese you can get. My husband order the hash browns with onions but they forgot the onions and had a very weird smell and taste to them. They were also undercooked and dry. My baked potato was decent but can you really mess up a backed potato. Any fast food joint has better French fries per my 18 year old. Service was mediocre at best. Never offered a refill on my Diet Coke and it was served in a small plastic cup so a refill would have been nice. Just not a good restaurant for the price. Save your money and go to one of the chain steakhouses. They all have better food than this place.

The food is amazing, great place for date night and friendly staff
First time here. I had several questions. Was answered placed my order. She never read it back to confirm. Ordered a ribeye, was charged for a prime cut. $20.00 plus difference. Waitress disagreed only wanted to take $2.00 off. I will not recommend this place or frequent it. And just to prove a point I paid the total so you won't think we where look for a free ride. This was a terrible waitress. $97. Plus

Salad is crap. Steaks had no flavor and the building needs updated badly. Do not waste your time or money. Outback is much better and way cheaper!

Atmosphere is bleak. Service was great. Table of 12 people. Had to send back four steaks that were undercooked. Steaks were okay. For the price you pay, I expect better. Won't be back.

I grew up 30 miles away and always heard about this great steakhouse but was never given a chance to go. We were visiting family and I decided my husband and I should enjoy a lovely evening out for his birthday. It was a weekday and they weren’t busy. The restaurant is almost hidden. No signage to speak of. We were pleasantly greeted and escorted to a very ordinary table in an open area, but were able to move to a more cozy booth. For a steakhouse (and the prices) I was surprised there wasn’t a tablecloth or even a placemat. Onion rings were perfect and the steaks were average. Service was great! My disappointment was primarily the lack of atmosphere and not feeling there was anything special about the place. The atmosphere was more that of a family casual restaurant.
Nice place to take the family. Although I went alone. I love steak but thought my cut lacked flavor. Some people like that thou.

Great service but the food was not good. For a $35+ steak it really should be delicious but the steak here is so bland. There was no seasoning at all on the steak and it wasn't evenly cooked. I ordered a medium and one half was medium but the other half was rare and still cold in the middle. I've had better steaks at hole in the wall bars and even Hy-Vee grill than this steakhouse.
If you like salad dressing to be a bit lighter, definitely ask for it on the side. I didn't know it came on it already and it was way too much for me.

This steakhouse is great. Awesome 1950’s no frills vibe. Steaks are always wonderful and I love the salmon too. If you don’t have a great time here, it’s your own fault. Great cocktails and mixed drinks. This will always be a family favorite.
