Atmosphere is bleak. Service was great. Table of 12 people. Had to send back four steaks that were undercooked. Steaks were okay. For the price you pay, I expect better. Won't be back.
I grew up 30 miles away and always heard about this great steakhouse but was never given a chance to go. We were visiting family and I decided my husband and I should enjoy a lovely evening out for his birthday. It was a weekday and they weren’t busy. \n\nThe restaurant is almost hidden. Great service but the food was not good. For a $35+ steak it really should be delicious but the steak here is so bland. There was no seasoning at all on the steak and it wasn't evenly cooked. I ordered a medium and one half was medium but the other half was rare and still cold in the middle. I've had better steaks at hole in the wall bars and even Hy-Vee grill than this steakhouse.
