The BBQ was good quality but amount given was pretty small for the price. The atmosphere was very nice, nice parking options and very well decorated. The price was a little hard to handle even though it was very tasty. The sausage and cornbread were clear winners.

Stopped here for lunch on my way to Sioux City. What a GREAT stop. The brisket hit the spot perfectly. That cornbread.....hooooo boy...that cornbread. With that honey butter, it tasted just as good as cake.
I tried all the sauces and didn't find any overly hot. The Carolina was more vinegar-y than anything and absolutely would not stop pouring from the bottle. The molasses was very sweet.

Decent BBQ joint, just not on par with Texas BBQ. Brisket was probably the best

Excellent BBQ! This speaks from a native Kansas gal where BBQ is the way of life! Try the pulled pork on the plate or on sandwich buns!

Now, keep in mind, all reviews are subjective so what I find appealing I’ve seen other people complain about. That being said….
I normally only write about the food in my reviews, but for this I had to mention that I personally liked the aesthetic of the place. The exterior felt modern which can be a stark contrast to the surrounding buildings. The interior has the same feeling but in the way it was served felt rustic/minimalist. Everything is put in a container without any markings and on a mat on a metal tray. Why pay to put print out logos on something going directly into the trash? Anyhow, onto the food!
I personally got the turkey, my wife got the rib meat sliders, and my mom got the chicken. We also got a couple orders of fries. I watched them pull out the ribs, and then push the meat off the bone and weigh it after to make sure each sandwich is consistent. When they pulled out the turkey and started cutting it was literally dripping with each cut. Pulling out the chicken thigh and leg they looked well seasoned and like they were about to fall off the bone.
My wife let me try one of the rib sandwiches and I thought it was great. It would not, however, outshine my turkey. A good flavored thin sliced turkey is one of my favorites things in food and this didn’t disappoint. My mom ate her chicken and didn’t offer to share and didn’t want to try ours, either, so I might have to go back and try that myself. And the fries were great! If you’re local, expect fries that rival what you would see from Bob’s.
They did have sauces on the table like a Texas sweet heat and a Carolina, but honestly the meat we had was flavored well enough that they didn’t seem necessary.
I should mention, I don’t normally tip, but the staff answered all my questions about the process as well as the philosophy behind creating healthy food that also tastes good and I was just overall impressed with my visit. Came during lunchtime on a Thursday so parking was no issue.
All of this and we didn’t even get that famous pulled pork this time. I think next time we might need that platter….

The food was good, but the overall dining experience was very disappointing. I made a reservation for 24 members of my church to eat at the restaurant, calling 1 month in advance & confirming one day prior to our arrival. When we arrived the staff had no idea we were coming. We had to move tables together & set up for ourselves. They ran out of sandwich buns at 6 pm, 3 hours before closing time. The cashier was unable to make change for one person who paid with a $20 bill. And they ran out of tableware in our dining room. All our 24 people were disapointed. I doubt any of us will eat there again.

Love thus BBQ place. Best around. Try to get here at least once when we are in the area. A bit pricey but most good BBQ places are. Brisket, ribs and beans are excellent.

Food good, but the young lady that waited on us, was very short tempered and rude. It felt like we were bothering her
