Tenderloin was pretty decent. Crinkle fries were generic crinkle fries. Cheese nuggets were decent. Hamburger though, was very.... Mcdonald's-ish. The service was great and the place was very clean and welcoming. Skip that burger and get the pork! I do want to go back and try the pizza since it has all the rave reviews.
This little place in this tiny town on your way to somewhere else in Iowa is a great place to stop! Just 5 minutes off of US Hiway 61 is a best kept local secret. If you're looking for the true Iowa pork tenderloin experience, The Grove Tap will provide it. So delicious! Specials like Friday night jumbo shrimp baskets or taco Wednesdays are a very good choice as well. Burgers, unique pizzas and of course cold beverages all await. We going here every so often to have a drink with friends. The bar is smaller in size but perfect for a small town. The owners are very nice and friendly! This place has some of the best pizza as well. They'll make them to your liking. If your ever in the area stop for a drink and experience the Tap! We recommend you visit.
