Great ice cream flavors, kind employees, generous portion sizes. A good place to grab a treat while visiting the High Trestle Bridge. The Amaretto Cherry ice cream was the best! I would highly recommend stopping by.

A cute little ice cream shop that you need to stop at while biking on the High Trestle Bridge. I would highly recommend this place. We had five people order 5 different things and they were all good. My favorite was the Amaretto Cherry ice cream. Portion sizes are big! Good value, nice employees and cute atmosphere. Outside seating only but they had a few tables to sit.

We ordered a thin mint flurrie and it was poorly mixed and had mini chocolate chips, not thin mint cookies, which was weird. Unfortunately it was also runny ice cream so that really made it worse. Pretty tough to ruin ice cream, but they did this time.

My wife and I stopped here this afternoon. Nobody was in line and there was a couple sitting at a table eating their ice cream. My wife ordered and then I ordered a strawberry sundae. Some other people came up to ordered. My wife got her sundae. 3 other people got their ice cream. Then I finally got mine. It had cherries on it not strawberries. That will be my last visit.

Every time I am in or around Madrid, I HAVE to make a stop at The Filling Station. Not only is the ice cream amazing, but the staff is very friendly and I enjoy the small town atmosphere around the building. The High Trestle Trail is minutes away on your bike as well! So, if you are out riding someday this summer, support a locally owned ice cream shop and stop by!!
