Riverbend Pub & Grill offers good service and a pleasant vibe for a small town. The menu features pub favorites like the BBQ Burger, Mac n Cheese, and chicken pesto sandwich, which are all excellent choices. The outdoor patio provides a nice view of the Maquoketa River, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Despite a minor issue with undercooked wontons initially, the Chicken wonton appetizer was eventually satisfying. The Haddock sandwich was fantastic, not dried out, and served on a perfectly toasted ciabatta bun. The tenderloin, though dark in appearance, was flavorful and tender. The place is welcoming, with quick service and delicious food. The only downside is the limited draft beer options, but overall, it’s a great spot for a casual meal. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making sure guests leave happy.
