“I ate twice here while I was in town and enjoyed both times. There are only a few places to eat in the immediate area, but Cliff's place was all I needed. Great for families as well.”

“The special was oven baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a side (we had the deviled eggs). The BEST meal we've had in a long time. Everything was homemade and delicious. Also had a piece of homemade strawberry pie, wonderful. They also brought us each a sample of rhubarb cobbler that was delicious (and I normally don't even like rhubarb). All of this for $22, best deal I've had in a long time! Place was clean, staff were friendly. Can't recommend highly enough!”

“I'm reading a book right now on how to start up a small business. It says know your product. So Ive been eating ice cream every day to help mature my palate. Todays stop was for homemade ice cream at Sweet Treats Ice Cream Shoppe in Manning. Price was very reasonable, scoops were HUGE, lots of flavors to choose from. I ended up going with the homemade ice cream sandwich. I gave it 5 stars. Lily loved the homemade snickers ice cream. Kris the owner was super friendly and gave me tips on the ice cream business. The next time you are in Manning stop over for ice cream!!! #smallbusinesssupportingsmallbusiness”

“This is the go to stop in Iowa. Most well versed distillery tour I’ve ever been on! Fully immersive and informative on the prohibition era and really dives deep into the history of Templeton itself. You’ll learn about the hiding places, and the great lengths people went to have their whiskey. Great sense of belonging throughout Templeton. Also, you can take pictures along the entire guided tour, they hold nothing back at all. Will definitely be back for another visit!”
