My wife and i showed up on a Monday night. The place wasn't too busy, but the food was incredible. Fresh, hot, and delicious, we both enjoyed the meal. It's pretty impressive to find a place like this in a small town in Iowa.

Chicken Chow Mein - fairly tasty. Sweet and sour chicken with sauce on the side - average. Orange chicken non-spicey - so over cooked that two clumps of chicken had to be cut apart with a steak knife. Burnt orange rinds made it orange. Fried rice - no flavor. Spring rolls - fairly tasty. Service - dirty dishes on two tables when we arrived and still there when we left. We were the only customers in the place, so not like it was busy. And sorry we bothered you. I felt so bad that my grandson couldn't finish his orange chicken that I made it at home for him the next day. I normally don't give poor reviews, but it truly was a disappointment for 2/3 of our party.
So glad there back from there vacation. It's hard to get good Chinese food when there gone. Ordered from China Cafe that was a horrible mistake and a waste of money.$50 😔 won't be going back to them again
