Fantastic venue, beautiful setting, wines have come a long way and are very tasty - even the reds! Service is consistently snooty and rude. We stopped by after visiting the Amana Colonies to enjoy a glass of wine and the staff was incredibly rude. The woman who waiting on us acted as if she was irritated and was very unfriendly, commenting that "most people sit when they do the sample flight" and there was literally NO ONE else waiting to sample - - and for that matter, probably only 5 other people in the entire facility otherwise. Love the wine, Love the venue, but kind, welcoming, hospitality and customer service is continually lacking - - unfortunate considering the many many wonderful things about Fireside.

Bad experience owner came to us outside almost at closing with a propane torch to tell us that we can't smoke outside all the employees came and didn't say anything to us when we confronted the owner he wanted to fight us, we spent 200 dollars there and we where going to buy more bottles to take home but the owner ruined it for us.
We absolutely love stopping at Fireside Winery! The Bacon Apple Pizza is our favorite dish to order and Fizzy Firefly is a must try for a refreshing summer wine. Warm Brie Dip is another notable mention!
Booking tickets for one of the Fireside Winery evenings is an absolute must! We had such an amazing time at the ABBA Cover Band and can’t wait to try Elton & Billy and the Dueling Pianos next summer! Remember to bring a chair, tumbler, and bug spray (didn’t really need it, not a single bite!). They host food trucks for dinner and it’s a guaranteed fun evening! You won’t regret it!
Excellent venue. Delicious wine!!
We went to the Elton John/Billy Joel tribute. It was a fantastic concert. The winery is very nice, great wines. The whole evening was fantastic. Infact, coming to the winery was the highlight of our vacation in Amana Colonies.
The ciders are 5 star, especially the Blackberry. The wines were very tasty and unique. It was a great atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Best wine in Iowa!? & can't beat the live music & atmosphere either. Worth the drive 4 sure!?
Extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly servers.
Beautiful place to come have a glass of wine and listen to some live music during the summer.

When you call for an inquiry regarding renting a hall for an event and ask for a manager to talk. They just hung up on you without asking a customer what are they calling about. Very disappointed
Service was great, the wine was great, had kind of subpar music but the wine and service made up for it. As a note the music is normally really good.
They have outside seating, in front and back. The back patio is very beautiful with the trees, especially in the fall. I had their Autumn Spice wine, it delicious, and perfect for chilly days or nights and it can be warmed. Also tried the Holiday Spice, it was good also.
Beautiful venue. Good food & wine. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Worth the trip!
A nice winery in a great setting. We stayed the night here as part of Harvest Hosts, and they also have an Air BnB rental option. They have something for everyone in terms of wine, with solid dry reds through sweets and ciders.
