We were out of town visitors who needed a place to relax and visit after a ceremony at Spring Valley Cemetery. Everyone was so nice and the food was excellent. Thank you to everyone at Bud's for giving us a nice visit together.
Unless you wanna watch the owner get fall down drunk and be completely rude to you or anyone I wouldn't go here.

Where you could yall improve? well maybe start by not letting your bartenders allow the "regulars" to smoke CIGARETTES indoors for 1. could also maybe tell the bartenders that the people that have CASH and a LEGAL ID are ALLOWED to be served alcohol rather than ignored simply because they LOOK young. like hello?? the bartender was like in his 60s at least with his racist and and sexist attitude but my 25 year old self can't get served here? AND people minding their own business, not even trying to buy liquor were being HARRASSED by the bartender for their IDs when they wanted WATER and SPRITE. WORST BAR IVE EVER BEEN TO IN SMALL TOWN IOWA.

Late this summer, we lead a group of Corvettes from central Iowa, to the Steamer Bertrand in western Iowa. What was a great trip, quickly turned into a nightmare of a stop at Bud’s Bar & Grill. Upon planning the route for that day, we also call the businesses to arrange times we plan on being at their businesses. We also call on the day before the event, and then again when we are about 30 minutes away, just so we have clear and concise communication.When we arrived at Bud’s Bar & Grill, our members arranged enough table and chairs for all of us to have a seat. This place acted like we never even called about eating lunch there!!! The one waitress was very rude, confused the meal orders, and seemed agitated that we were even there. It also seemed as though the customers were blamed for incorrect orders. How was the food there? I don’t even remember what I ordered because of the mess this establishment created. I do know that several members were not happy with their food! But, here is the kicker! Customer A and customer B were the first to place their orders. Everyone received their orders except for customer A & B. We flagged the waitress regarding this and she rolled her eyes into the back of her head and stormed away from the table. She returned to the table with one meal for customer A (which was cold), but nothing for customer B. Finally he had to reorder his meal and then he was eventually served. Could it be that our member was singled out due to his race? Seems rather obvious!!!Then, when finished eating we all went to the register to pay our tabs. That same lady was again very rude to our members!! A lot of our members left little to nothing for tips, solely based on her attitude. I was speaking with a group that came in on motorcycles, and they were equally angry with the service they were provided. The waitresse’s attitude alone was enough to never stop again. BUT, serving one of our members last “potentially due to his race”, was UNACCEPTABLE IN SO MANY WAYS!!! Shame on them!!!!! Our Club likes to support small businesses, but this waitress has given Bud’s Bar & Grill a huge black eye!!!!!

Corvette Club of 16 had a reservation weeks in advance and confirmed hours before. Food took a long time, orders came out sporadically. Many orders were wrong. I personally had the pork tenderloin. It was the driest, least tasty sandwich I've ever had. Group of bikers arrived after us were livid due to the long wait for food.Eat somewhere else.

Was visiting Moorhead with my grandmother who grew up there. We stopped in for lunch and had an amazing bacon cheeseburger. If your driving through, definitely stop in!
We were vacationing from Alexandria MN and stopped in for a beer, food and information on Saturday April 9. Triple bullseye! Cold beer, great food and Brady and crew provided us with a map of the area and a great campground, Willow Lake Recreation. Great place to visit! Staff is wonderful!
