It is no longer Jamie's. It's under new owners. We do some food. But not the old menu. But we are still kid friendly.and we are still at same address. But now called HTH OUTDOORS/momma and papa coffee bar.
Stopped for coffee when on a road trip. What a cute store with fun gifts… coffee mugs, socks, and others. And great coffee, deli and beverage options. The service was very good - friendly and thorough. We ordered two lattes - vanilla and a specialty to go. Great find and fun stop. And the price was soooo reasonable!
The small town of Mt. Ayr harbors a secret to which only the wandering or the lost are privvy. Jamie's is a groovy little knot-in-the-wall off the beaten path offering inexpensive dining and a caffeine menu to rival big city hot spots. Very quaint, clean nostalgic atmosphere of vintage collections and clever decor. Forgotten pieces of home that everyone should recognize. It's a display of grassroots Iowa like only Iowans know it. Fair prices. Sweet people filling up...
