I was born and raised in Iowa, but during a recent visit to the town where my grandmother lives, I was invited to a private event—Tootsie B’s Music with Brenda Carver. I had no idea what a surprise I was in for.
The café had a cozy, welcoming energy, but the real highlight was the performance. I swayed in my seat, rocked gently to the rhythm, and even shed a few tears. The music selection was pure gold—timeless classics that touched the soul.
It was truly a beautiful experience, and Mrs. Carver is now family in my heart.

This is my go too coffee spot from meeting clients or taking my wife there. The staff is part of the environment that makes it perfect. Every time I’m there they are extremely friendly.

We always look for local spots to stop at on our road trips and this was excellent! The chicken salad sandwick was amazing, we all enjoyed our drinks, and the satff were super friendly - high recommend!

Met a friend here for lunch. It was the first time I had been here. I had the turkey with gouda sandwich with cranberry cream cheese which was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the berry-flavored lemonade. The place was quiet and relaxing which made it a great place to visit with my friend.
Luke warm, weak coffee even when a fresh brew was made. Disappointingly tiny bowl of scrambled egg with bits in & peculiar, very unpleasant textured clumpy, stringy toasted cheese sandwich using small slices of bread. It's a shame because the cafe looked inviting.

Stopped in with my wife and was met by the counter person Paige. She was kind, helpful and patient as were deciding on what to order, after a delicious scone, coffee, roast beef & cheddar sandwich, along with tomato soup, all was great! The place is very clean and the food was fresh. I think it’s a great addition to the community, and right on the square!Great job Paige and to the very nice owner!
