We're from the southwest and this is probably the best Mexican food I have ever had... in SE Iowa. Who would have thought? I had the Pollo Fundido and Michelle had the combo bowl molcadete with cactus (tastes like green bell peppers) and we both enjoyed the service, atmosphere, and food. They're right on the town square... very highly recommend.

I just happened on this resturauant while passing through town. It was cute from the outside and so I decided to give it a try. To me the food was OK but not great. The chips and salsa they served seemed as if they opened a bottle of salsa from their food supplier. Did not seem to be homemade or anything special. The beef taco had really no seasoning on the ground beef and the Chile Relleno had clumpy cheese in the middle that had not melted and I am accustom to the chile being...

First time here. Excellent atmosphere, very clean and well-lit. Real cloth table coverings, excellent salsa to go with the fresh chips. Ice water is fantastic, no strange flavors.
Lunch menu is great, we got a chicken chimichanga and a beef chimichanga, and a "Tony's Lunch Special" that was seasoned grilled chicken breast, over rice, with black beans, corn, and chunks of avocado with some queso on the side. All were delicious, beautiful presentation....
