Traveled to the Rome Iowa Lunchbox today. We traveled just over an hour and just for the Tenderloins. 3 of us had the half Hot Tenderloin with potatoes and gravy. 2 had the sandwich. All 5 of us were very happy with our selections. Everything was delicious. The tenderloins were seasoned well and very tasty. Definitely worth the drive.
I am looking foward to my leftovers. ?
In the future when traveling though the area we will be stopping by again.

Catfish was excellent and so was the Salisbury steak!! The price of 15.99 was high for the very limited selection on the buffet. There is no atmosphere but bring your family or friends and you create your own! :)

It's down-home cooking made with lots of love and great friendly service. It was open-spaced and food! The price is good for as much as you get and the tenderloin is huge you get enough to make 2 sandwiches with 1 serving.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly items, desserts

Parking: It was fair parking if it was busy might be harder

Wheelchair accessibility: Flat open doors that could easily fit a wheelchair or walker.
