Spent $95, left $5 tip since we picked up and wasn't expecting it to be so pricey. They "accidentally" charged 20% tip when I left $3 online and $2 at store. They charged ("accidentally") $16.40 to my card and refused to refund it and I'm extremely disappointed in this restaurant for trying to make an extra buck off someone else's hard work. Shame on your employees for doing this!

Finding good Chinese food at times, especially in a small town, is sometimes a daunting experience. Mei's did not disappoint. As you walk in the restaurant, it has a calming atmosphere with a couple of aquariums that literally had many large orange fish STARING at you (It was erie but quite cool), comfy booths and soothing music. Our server was super sweet and efficient, the food came out super fast, and the teapot was the largest I have ever seen at a Chinese restaurant 😀. Their lunch special consists of an entree, fried or white rice, and a crab rangoon or an egg roll. Most all priced around $10.95! All dishes were tasty (we ordered the triple delight) The chicken and beef were very tender, and the shrimp was good, but only a few were found, and the sauce was tasty. If you are ever in Mt. Pleasant Iowa, and have a hankering for good Chinese food, don't hesitate to try this great little place out. Don't forget to say "Hi" to the funny fish!

I had sesame chicken for lunch today and let me tell you, I have never been disappointed here ever! The food is SO DELICIOUS and fresh! The owner and everybody here is so nice as well! If you’re debating if you want to come here or not, well don’t, I’ll save you some time here, just come here, you will love it too!

If you are a crab rangoon fan you MUST. COME. HERE. The best crab rangoon I've had. The General Tso's Chicken was perfection. Plenty of flavor and the spicy level didn't overpower it. The breading was very light and crispy while the chicken inside was tender. I wish I had found this place sooner!
