A cozy diner with genuine staff, good food, and a wide selection of high quality fresh baked goods. I can highly recommend almost everything on the menu here. Staff is courteous, food is prepared quickly, and the prices are very reasonable. Miss K herself is a fountain of wisdom and local landmarks, parks, and history.
Stop in on a slow day, have a cup of coffee and some breakfast, chat with the staff and the locals. You'll meet some of the friendliest faces in Mount Pleasant Iowa!
Worst food I ever ate I order the sausage gravy my sausage wasn’t even cooked still pink biscuit was dry scratching my throat I also order a side of sausage greasy sausage I ever seen

A delicious, Mom and Pop shop, where everything is homemade, on the Square in Mount Pleasant Iowa. I highly suggest that everyone tries it. It does get very busy so there may be somewhat of a wait.
