I had the crispy chicken sandwhich and the come back sauce is amazing. thier house made ranch is so good too. We sampled the cheese curds and the fried pickles...perfect. Service was friendly and helpful.

We used to come here quite a bit for lunch or dinners and always really loved the food. Unfortunately can’t help but notice some changes in quality since ownership changed. Hand cut fries are gone, some portions changed, and cheap salty cut-up breaded chicken patties are what’s used on chicken salads now, and a few other things we’ve noticed. It’s still decent and the service has always been good - just disappointing to pay the same or more and get lower quality now.

Today was the first time eating there and it was delicious. The waitress was very friendly and sweet. I had the special which was the pattymelt and it was the best one I've ever had and I've had many. Thanks Tony for the great sandwich and fries.

We stopped at The Chameleon on our way home from Iowa City based on other reviews. We're so glad we did! They had a nice selection of tap beers and our bartender/server was very friendly! We ordered the hand breaded fresh pork T and it was absolutely the best we've ever had, and we've had quite a few! So glad we shared it because it was large and thick, and so delicious! We'll definitely be back!

In town for a baseball tournament. Our Air BNB host suggested it. We’re glad she did. All I can say is get the grilled tenderloin sandwich and pasta salad. The tenderloin is delicious and cooked to perfection. The pasta salad was yummy!! My son got a burger. He said it was really good too. Cooked exactly how he asked. Our server was super sweet and quick. The cook even took some time to talk with us. The atmosphere is cozy. Great experience.
