Great food. They gave me heads up that the kitchen was backed up due to short staff. Asked if the wait (20 minutes) was a problem. I said no and thank you. Service and everything else was 5 stars. It's must visit if you are MV.

Efficient, friendly service. Tasty food - nice to have breakfast option for lunch and appreciated availability of gluten free toast. ?

Maybe it's just that I haven't had good wheat toast in a while, but it was really good. Fluffy eggs, tasty potatoes and good links. Will be back.

Some of the best omelets you can get. Their cinnamon roll bread pudding is excellent, when available.

Wasn't a very friendly place, kind of felt we were an inconvenience. Good variety on the menu but were out of baked potatoes. The eggs Benedict were good though.

The food was good, but extremely small portions.

Visiting Mt Vernon and grabbed lunch at the Skillet Cafe. I highly recommend the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. The flavors were nearly identical to the ones in Philly. Excellent!

Delicious food! Excellent service!

Delicious Reuben omelet! I love that they use thicker cuts of corned beef, and the flavor of the whole omelet was perfect- not too eggy but not too Reuben-y either... the potatoes were very flavorful also

Great breakfast and friendly staff. Parking was easy to find and lots to walk and see (pre-covid) on the main drag after you eat.
