Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream - Muscatine- Lake Park

Quality of pizza has dropped remarkedly from years ago...chintzy on toppings, flavor not up to par, and enormous crust boils on a few. It was a party so couldn't bring up to mngt or I would have. I know they're capable of much better. With pizza ranch in town they need to step it up!!

Cool place with nice pictures and facts on the walls. Happy Joe's is arguably the best pizza that isn't a huge business. Kids loved the arcade here, too.

Kinda wish they had more buffet hours but I don't mind. The buffet is delightful and delicious, I always get it when I have the chance. The pizza is okay but I'm also not somebody who really likes to eat pizza. You don't really serve you so I wouldn't really pay attention to the service, unless some 16 year old is working at the cash register and isn't being the most polite, then I guess that'd count as bad service? I've never had any negative service so I honestly don't know. Overall the place is pretty fun and kid friendly, but I'm disappointed in the arcade. A couple of years ago I used to have so many fun games and prizes, but now most of those games are rundown or out of order. My favorite used to be the train, but that's out of order too. Other than that I love the place!

Spent over 100$, the delivery driver was lost. She had the wrong address, called for directions 3 times with a totally wrong address, wanted me to give her directions even though she couldn't tell me where she was at, and would not agree to just taking the order back to the restaurant so that I could pick it up...really said "seriously" when I said that I prefered to pick it up. Gaurenteed the food would be hot, it wasn't. Wth!?! Last time ?

We had the lunch buffet when we stopped here. A little off the main street but not hard to find. We were pleasantly surprised to find the lunch buffet was only around $9.50 for seniors!! Bonus considering many places are over $12 . The lady at the counter was extremely pleasant and accommodating. She told us a large group had just left, but the buffet was fully restocked and had many great choices. The dining room and rest rooms were very clean. There were only 5 other tables of customers there at that time, but it was quiet and good food.When we left, she was visiting with a regular customer but made sure to stop and thank us for coming in. One of the better pizza buffets we have had in a long time and price was great!

would not advise anyone to go there unless you have 2 or 3 hours to spend. The pizza came out quickly (probably because it was not done) We ordered 6 sundies for dessert which took over an hour and a half to get. After 30 min. i went up to the counter to see what was taking so long 1 was done and half melted but i took it anyway. They got 1 done about every 20 min. after that.
