This place had a nice, calm atmosphere. The decor and beautiful plants were pleasant to look at. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. Most of all, the food and chips were delicious! Can’t wait to go back.

A Great Mexican Restaurant in Nevada. First time here. Staff did a super job at making us feel welcome. The Alambre and the Fajita Quesadia were spot on. We'll be back.

TLDNR: order birria tacos. I’ve lived in taco town, San Antonio, for a few years and the expectations were low coming in to eat in Iowa…Mi Casita’s birria would hold its own in SA, though! If you want to visit Flavor Town, order the birria tacos! You get some consomé, rice, beans, lettuce, and guacamole…but those three tacos on corn tortillas were excellent! Get the spicier salsa for added effect - it’s “Iowa spicy”, good flavor. I’ve been here many times trying different items and will not order anything else as long as this is available. Well done!! No picture, had too of a time.
