I visited Renn's Cafe for the first time a little over a month ago. I deeply regret not having stopped in sooner! The Chai Tea is incredible and it's the perfect place to catch up with friends, play a game or cards, or just take some time for yourself. I could even see this as a great place for an all-hands company meeting after their normal close time.

I was out working in Nevada and happened to stop in her shop which smelled amazing. Renn was working and she was so sweet and kind. I asked her about her coffee shop and what makes it stand out from the rest besides the amazing coffee I had . She makes her own syrup from scratch and no extra chemicals and all natural ingredients that are not harmful to our bodies. I was very impressed with that and the taste of her coffee coming from a daily coffee drinker. If you’re ever in that area or looking for an amazing cup of coffee that will be hard to forget I recommend you check this place out. I will be back and with others for sure

Comfortable and cozy breakfast and lunch spot with a diverse menu that showcases Renn's handmade syrups. The space is a little bit charming small town general store, a little bit turn of the century art nouveau with modern styling, and a little bit inviting family living room. I'm familiar with Renn's brand from multiple local pop-up markets, and was pleased to see she has a brick and mortar now. Her branding translates beautifully into her new space with lots of special touches, like the mural on the wall and the family heirloom piano in the front seating area.

The food was fabulous! I had the Vegan Chickpea Salad as a sandwich on a croissant. There were vegan and gluten free bread options in addition to salad greens for this salad. I really appreciate when someone takes the time to craft an inclusive menu, and it can be hard to do that in a way that doesn't leave you wanting. I've eaten a lot of chickpea salad and let me tell you, this was the most delicious version I've ever had. It was bursting with flavor and had an amazing combination of textures—well seasoned mashed chickpeas that still maintained their firmness, dried fruit, slivered almonds, crispy lettuce, and a soft, buttery croissant. I would order a large container of this to take home with me and enjoy all week. A+

I also had an iced Dirty Chai Latte with whole milk. You can taste the difference Renn's homemade syrups make in your drink. They pair so nicely with espresso roast they use, and create a rich, full-bodied drink. Great chai flavor, but it's also my favorite syrup of hers to use at home (it's great warmed up over pancakes) 😁

When I stopped in around 11am on a Thursday, it was a one-woman operation. Renn expertly juggled taking and preparing food and drink orders, greeting customers, and even delivering orders to tables.

Renn's Cafe is a great addition to the Nevada Main Street District. This is my new go-to any time I'm in town, and worth the detour when I'm passing through along Hwy 30!

Vegetarian options: The vegan chickpea salad was an amazingly thoughtful vegan/vegetarian dish. Extremely flavorful, which makes me confident the other dietary-inclusive options would be as well.

Dietary restrictions: Their menu includes vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Renn also asked if I had any nut allergies as she was taking my order, so I would guess their menu can accommodate that as well.

Parking: There were plenty of open parking stalls along 6th Street.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed and the menu has options they will enjoy, like juice boxes.

Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately, there is a single large step to enter the building. I'm not sure if there is an accessible entrance as this is a historic building.

Quaint little breakfast and lunch stop. Smaller menu, but concentrates on quality in my eyes. Co-worker suggested it, and I stopped in for a quick sandwich to go. Chicken salad sandwich was awesome!

Renn has created a cafe that offers a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. While I was saddened by the closing of FarmGrounds I am beyond impressed with what Renn has created. Her staff is incredibly kind and did a phenomenal job offering a wide range of pastry’s and breakfast items. Not only is the food delicious but the service is wonderful. Renns cafe has become my go to coffee shop!

I took my little cousin there with me to try it for the first time and I was not disappointed! Renn and the team were all very sweet and helpful, and didn't mind when we took a little longer to figure out what we wanted. The atmosphere was very cozy, with games and good seating and a rustic vibe. I always love getting local food and coffee, and you couldn't get better than Renns café. I will be coming back with my boyfriend and family, and it may become my new little study area!

"Yummmm Oh Mom this is soo yummy! What a yummy cookie! Delicious. This cookie is making me happy!" - my daughter with her GF choc chip cookie today. LOVE that you offer GF so she can eat here with me. My turkey apple arugula cheddar sandwich on sourdough was good and the Peach Cobbler muffin (GF) was even better. Will be back!

My husband and I had our first visit this weekend and everything we got was fantastic! I’ve grown picky about coffee over the last couple years and I can say with great satisfaction I didn’t think to myself “Mine’s better” at any point! Will definitely be back!

They have board games, puzzles, and plenty of spots to play them. They have vegan and gluten free options, although I didn’t try them. I liked the chicken salad croissant. The mocha was good, the raspberry white chocolate mocha was very good, and the iced chai was amazing.
