Stopped in during a road trip up the Mississippi. This is by far the friendliest place I've ever been. They know everyone by name and they treat you great. Prices here haven't been hit by inflation. Wish this was my local watering hole.
Small, not fancy, but a good bar and grill. Has a bar, a few tables (maybe 4), two booths, and a small dinette counter with four or five stools. A mom and daughter, probably the owners, cooked all the food. It was simple and very good. I had the Friday lunch special of goulash (better than it sounds). The other specials were a turkey club and a chicken fried steak. A variety of burgers and sandwiches are available. A fish fry is available for dinner on Fridays. They do have take...
The absolute best place to eat and drink. If you are anywhere close to this place, it is WELL worth the drive. The food is the best home cooked meals and the service is great. Robin makes you feel right at home!
