Best fajita I ever had! Kind service, big portions, great prices, lots of tasty, authentic options on the menu, and a really good tequila sunrise.

This hidden gem had excellent Mexican fare. Chili relleno is my go-to meal at any new-to-me Mexican restaurant. Rancho Viejo served a better chili relleno than I have been able to find in Tucson where I spend the winter. My wife was pleased with her enchiladas, but disappointed that mole sauce was not available on the day that we visited. We shared a very tasty House Margarita. The beer selection was limited, but that's the norm for Mexican restaurants. We were too full to ask whether they had sopapillas for dessert.
Parking: There is free, on-street parking. On the Sunday evening when we visited, the street was pretty deserted, so parking was a snap. Might not be so easy on a weekday.

Bean dip has green sauce on top and its not mentioned in the menu nor is it good. We asked for no rice and beans and he said okay, then brought it anyway. We had food dropped off but no one checked on us and one napkin turned into the communal napkin. My daughters hard taco shells disintegrated due to oil and the beans were so watery on the plate it was more a soup. Personally didn't like the rice. The cornona was fine though.

I really love going here, I love the margaritas, and the food is pretty good. But the service is always terrible. Not because they're rude or mean. They're always friendly. But it always takes at least 40 minutes for us to get our food when I go out with friends. Last time it was 30 minutes before they even came to our table, he served us all water, came back 20 minutes later for our food order but never asked our drink orders. We just added our drink orders in with our food orders. We rarely get checked on. I always have to find somebody to get something I might need. Whether it be more salsa, a margarita, some queso, whatever we might need we have to find someone to ask them or wait another 15 minutes until the waiter decides to come back to our table. I'm forgiving of a business if they're super busy or understaffed and it holds up service. But every single time? Literally 5-6 times, repeatedly, the service is horrible. I hope this is something that can be fixed because it is a great restaurant.

I stood inside, waiting for someone to wait on me for 5 minutes before I decided to yell "hello" into the kitchen (I saw 2 people talking back there), and still no one came. Finally, an employee walks in the front door....and takes another 2 to 3 minutes to wait on me lmao. I have no idea why I waited. At that point, I just ordered a Pina Colada to go, and sweet Jesus, it was another 5-7 minutes. I was the Only customer in Rancho the entire time. So in my opinion the service was a 2/5 at the very best .
