Whenever I’m in town, I make it a point to eat here! I’ve always loved their fries so you can imagine my sad disappointment when I saw they no longer have the same fries and have changed them to what many fast food joints use, which I’ve never liked. Please bring back the good fries!!!

I liked the place. It had the perfect small town feel with your typical small town American food.
The place was basically an open kitchen. The place looked sharp and clean when I walked in after the lunch hours.
The maid-rite wasn't really flavorful; it required me to add condiments. It tasted much better when I added a little ketchup and some salt.
Onion rings were good. Iced tea was also nice.
Will return to try other dishes, like its chili, pork tenderloin and desserts, next time.

Literally 3rd time I've walked out without ordering anything. The lady taking orders does not even acknowledge you are wating to order, when she does she acts as if it's an inconvenience to take your order. Employees bickering back and forth at one another, zero communication, and nobody seems to know what they should be doing. Place is fine if you have all afternoon to wait to have your order taken. Plenty of other places near by to eat. Don't waste your time here.

Maid rite sandwich may be an Iowa favorite but not overly impressed. Sandwich was bland. Service was slow. Hard to tell who works there and who's hanging out. No identifiable uniforms.

I was very disappointed with my Maid-Rites. I ordered 5 Maid-Rites to go, and when I took the first bite, it had no taste of the Maid-Rite seasoning. I probably won't be going back.

EXACTLY the same as it was 35 years ago when I was in high school. Great food, served jot, and in a friendly manner. I always try to make a stop whenever I am in town.
