Stopped in for lunch and I had the Pisano sandwich. It was very good. The staff is very friendly. There is plenty of parking behind the building with an entrance clearly marked off the parking lot. I would go here again.

Staff were amazing and were accommodating to me, considering I was from out of town and visiting for the first time. Food was also tasty and left me satisfied. Their dill spread is pretty dang good and I recommend it with the chips. Must visit in Newton.

Ordered catering for my daughter’s graduation. They were so nice and helpful. Food was so good lots of compliments. Very affordable! Was easy to customize. We ordered, egg salad, potato salad, a variety of cookies, and we chose three different types of bread with a mix of meat and cheeses they made mini sandwiches out of and included condiments on the side and of course dill dip! Highly recommend!

When I walked in they were getting ready to close but still decided to make a sandwich for me it was the pulled pork on an onion Kaiser bun. It was delicious I’m so glad I stopped!!!!

This place warms my heart! After spending a few days in Florida, it was so nice to come back home and experience classic small town Iowa hospitality. I’ve been wanting to try PJ’s Deli since I moved to Newton in June, and I finally got around to it. Took me long enough! It’s definitely going to be a breakfast/lunch staple for my boyfriend and I. The Paisano and George Almighty sandwiches were so tasty! The sandwiches were piled high with meat— you definitely get your money’s worth here. And the service is great! The employees are the sweetest. They forgot to brew coffee, and when we asked about it, a very kind lady brought it to our table and later gave us a free cookie and brownie to make up for the “error” (it was no big deal at all). Oh, how sweet! That really made our day. Our first PJ’s Deli experience was excellent, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

What a way to start the day Pam treated me to an over the top in deliciousness Special Italian at PJ's Deli. I ordered mine with pepper jack cheese and ask them to make it an angry Italian by lacing it with Jalapenos. I've eaten mine grilled as well as heated in the past and like both ways, but really do prefer heated. This is a magnificent sandwich from a magnificent restaurant. We in Newton are very fortunate to have have them here.As you can clearly see from the last photo, PJ Deli has earned my coveted cleaned plate award and for sure has my highest recommendation.
