Gracie rocks. She might be their only bartender. The place has changed hands 3 times in as many years. It’s a bag of cats. All chaos and confusion. Still, it is a landmark; in a town that doesn’t have much. Wish that Casey’s was 24hrs.
We stopped at Burt’s for the first time in a while and had an enjoyable conversation with Brian, the owner. My dad was the eponymous Burt so it was fun talking about the bar’s history. Brian is very customer focused and is building a fun neighborhood business. Think CHEERS, except in Nichols instead of Boston.

Everyone will feel welcome at this friendly, family-owned place with wonderful staff, excellent service, and yummy tacos on Thursday nights. There's a pool table, jukebox, and always a game on TV; they are all happy to see their customers and you can get anything from a PBR to a fancy dessert-shot to drink for a great price!
