Just tried at their north English location! Had
A Philly, steak sandwich and steak fries. The fries were so good! Both sandwiches were pretty good but would’ve been a million times better if the bread were warm so the cheese could melt. Overall super good and would definitely try again.
11 of us went in had a seat. 1st table got drinks and food in no time. Couple other people came in and was served before we got all of our drinks at second table. Then it took about 30 minutes to get our food. But in the end it was great food ...
Friendly, welcoming staff. Good malt shop food, great malts and shakes! You can't ask for more. For me, it was the Philly Cheese Steak and the quick accommodation of the surprise 11-person party we sprung on them, plus the light-up-the-room smiles from the manager. If you are passing through the area, it is worth the mini detour to get there.
