“Lunch Special hot beef sandwich with yummy carrots. I'm confident that everything is homemade, even the bread. Roast beef is pulled apart rather than sliced. Potatoes are mashed, lumpy, with red skins - just the way I love them. Cake is a homemade yellow with "german" frosting.

“Stopped in with the family last fall for an early dinner. It was chilly out, so we chose a seat close to the fire place. Had some issues keeping the fire going but they called a local repair man who ended up fixing it with pieces of an old beer can. They were able to get it running again and kept it nice and toasty for the remainder of dinner. The local football team won that day and everyone in the establishment took a photo with props! It was a very fun night!”
