Upon arrival on a bestie trip to Montana (first time in this great state!) we decided to walk around the downtown area before going out to our house rental and have a drink. Rocking R had a nice open vibe and was not too crowded on a Thursday mid-day so we locked in on this bar. We ordered a couple of local craft beers, some pretzel bites and fried pickles. The starters were good, the beer tasty and cold. My friend ordered the flight which then came with a pint of whatever one...
We came in for a late lunch. Started with appetizers the house made mozzarella sticks are so so good as well as the fried mushrooms. Husband and I split the blue cheese burger. Good flavor, cooked perfectly. We ordered two flights of beer. On the Bozeman flight and the other picked our own. Beer was really good and cold. Great service loved the atmosphere and the food was really good
We needed a lunch stop between flying into Bozeman and driving to West Yellowstone. After we walked around town for a bit we picked Rocking R Bar. Good choice! We sat at the bar and ordered local craft brews and burgers. All were great and the staff was super friendly. I even bought one of their t-shirts because I was so happy to be there! :)
