This place is an Okoboji classic, I can’t tell you the number of experiences we’ve had over 32 years eating here.
A couple of notes of interest for you;
1. We are allowed to buy pie before 11am now (wahoo)
2.O’farrell sisters granddaughter bakes the pies (she’s lovely)
3. New owner and staff are amazing
Highly recommend this place! It has been around forever, and is still super popular.
Our waitress immediately asked us if we wanted the air conditioner vents covered, as it can be quite chilly where they are located, so she did that for us.
I had cinnamon roll french toast. It was delicious. My friend enjoyed her simpler breakfast of eggs, sausage and toast, with coffee. The waitress was extremely attentive, even with all the tables filled....

A friend recommended we stop here while visiting Okoboji, and it was absolutely worth it. Tucked away in a cozy neighborhood by the lake, the place feels like a welcoming home, with big windows letting in tons of natural light.
I ordered the pickle Bloody Mary—it was delicious! My husband had the half order of the Hangover, and I went with the Boji Browns, topped with an over-easy egg and hollandaise...
