Every other bar on the lake allows well behaved dogs on the lower level. No sign. Not immediately confronted about it. Very disappointed. Won’t be back.

Checked in tonight and got a confirmation text at 6:37pm and were told by the hostess 1hr - 1.5hr. Went up when we had waited 1 hour 50 minutes with no table and were told ANOTHER 30 MINUTES. It is currently 9:06pm and we STILL have not received a text our table is ready. On top of that, hostesses were all extremely rude to both me and my husband when we were nothing but polite asking how many tables were ahead of us on the list to get an update since we have 3 young kids. Hire nicer staff or move the hostesses to a different position if they can’t act cordial to customers- they’re the first people customers see upon arrival. Disappointing. Used to like it here. Won’t be back. I can spend my money and be treated way nicer at one of the other many restaurants in town.

Have always loved the Okoboji Store until the moment they told me it was 2.5 hour wait for a table let alone how long until we would get food (had two kids with us) - then had our dog on a leash from the boat and they ended up kicking us out even though my dog was on a leash no further than 3 in from me. They need to relax with the outside vibe as long as pets are on a leash.

Madison was our server and she was outstanding along with the food and atmosphere. We are traveling from Pennsylvania and decided to stop because of the Lakes awesome views I highly recommend this place for a great time with fantastic food / service

We were told 20 minutes for a table. Not a problem.. we waited.. an hour later we asked again… 20 minutes..ok we were having drinks not a problem.. my dads hip was starting to hurt so he had to sit for a minute at a table that just got up and they had to clean yet. The manager told him they were going to sit people here. He replied and said I know I just needed to sit for a minute to stretch my hip.. she instantly got mad..asked his name and once he gave it she told him she was taking him off the list and he had to leave. Absolutely horrible customer service

What a great place to experience all Lake Okoboji has to offer! Awesome food spectacular service, just remember that in the off season some of the help jas gone back to school...
