This is a late post, but one of my favorite stops when in town! They have the best view of boat traffic, tastiest drinks & the most flavorful food! I got a chicken sandwich this trip, friend got the fish tacos & both were amazing. Never had bad food. Depending on what event, holiday or time of year you visit the service can be over the top, but there is always a chance of waiting. Fear none tho, the wait is worth it!

Your restaurant is where l once played with Larue Olsen that was born with polio. Lots of memories, check out MY STORY at your local library. Your fish basket is the best in the West.Robert in MarshalltownRemember to check out MY STORYSigning MY STORY for the mayor, his father was a famous lawyer in Spencer John Greer, his son is Joel GreerMy Story can be checked out at Arnold’s Park, Milford, and Marshalltown libraries.Robert with his book, many stories about growing up inarea and should be good reading for the local population,as many remember the same stories.Wow, by way of the internet l was able to locate the obit and burial plot of my boyhood friend, Larue Olson, who lived near the present location of the Grocery Store. His parents ran the store & post office. Larue had polio and wore braces and could not walkso Francis Dayley and me carried him about the school for many years. I was visiting Larue one day and to our surprise Babe Ruth of baseball fame stopped by to visit Larue and gave him a signed baseball! Quite a prize one must admit and he spent a few minutes with the both of us and we sure did share the moment with our many friends. I still have my Arnold’s Park baseball uniform that Coach Everett Moss gave when we left my freshmen year, as my dad was drafted to work at the Inland Waterways in Duluth as our government needed a boat draftsmen, and my dad was a local boat builder.Parking: We are able to find a spot, but we drive a Spark!

when we get to the lowa Great Lakes, one thing we do,is go to the Grocery Store for a big basket of fish and chips! hhhmmm good! It is home ground and we like to visit our many friends and looking forward to a nice boat ride on West Okoboji. lowa is blessed with many lakes and we try to get on them during the summer months! p.s. move pictures into this part.

Come for the view! Stay for the food! Hot n fresh donuts, crispy brusssels, sandwiches and more. The staff was friendly. The drinks were flowing and refreshing. Great hangout spot with live music right on the water. Very busy crowd. Must stop if you are in Boji!

Fun spot to share with family or guests. I recommend non-traditional meal times during high tourist season, like a 2:30 lunch. Plan to use the valet if boating. Ahi tuna fish tacos are full of flavor!

The restaurant has an amazing view of the lake. It's right by the highway, so it's really easy to spot. We got the fish tacos and mushroom and swiss burger. My only complaint was that the fries were really salty, we had to scrape off all the excess salt.

For years the “Store” has been our go-to for the summer season! We had a concern and the manager Amanda went above and beyond to discuss along with mitigating the issue. Customer service is top notch!! ❤️❤️❤️

Everything about it was great! The food was awesome, the service was great, and the location overlooking the lake in the marina. It was fantastic. The menu is very diverse, and the drinks were made well.

Spot on. By the water, great wait staff. Indoors too noisy so we sat outdoors on deck overlooking water. It was 90+ degrees, but the breeze from the water helped. We had the walleye sandwich. Awesome. Good flavor, nice "branded" bun, sauce and condiments inside it were nice. Good fries, crisp and golden. It was a long drive for us, over 5 hours but just that lunch made it worthwhile. We'll be back!

This place always looks so busy and every year we go to Okoboji we pass it by. This year we decided no matter what, we were going to eat there. It was worth the wait. It was fantastic. I ordered the fish tacos and it had so many flavors in it, I felt like I was on a food show. Tasted amazing. My sister had the walleye sandwich. We cut our meals in half and split them so we could try each others. The walleye sandwich was great too.

Do yourselves a favor and visit the Okoboji Store if you find yourself in the area. Our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 teenagers) enjoyed 3 hours there over Labor Day weekend. Just reading the menu was enough to start the fun with the clever combinations and fun titles. The teens loved the selection of mocktails. There was entertaining live music. Our food was delicious (especially the Store burger). Don’t miss ordering the Lemonade Stand dessert. I’ve never had anything quite like it and I’ll be dreaming about it for some time. This place is just perfectly crafted to lead you into a fun time. The kids played Gaga ball and basketball. We had a family cornhole tournament. And we all enjoyed watching what we coined “the boat parade” going back and forth under the bridge right next to us!
